Ok, I have now put some numbers together so we can actually compare these monitors to each other. Admittedly, the numbers aren't exact since I don't know how to gather this information myself. I just took the different ways they were listed and did some simple math to generate the following table.
The X axis is obviously the Monitor, the Y axis is the amount of deflection, and the value is the time in microseconds to deflect that far. The last row is the number of .05 inches per microsecond. I did not take into account that the V2000 is only a 13" monitor since I figured the angle of deflection is all that is really being measured.

We still do not have any real numbers for the Amplifone XY monitor or the Electrohome G08. Are these easily obtainable? Can you just put a scope on the yoke and see how much time is between each peak? I guess we would need a special test pattern for this? Any ideas? Or is this whole exercise a waste of time (I know putting those damn .'s and :'s in were :).
