Battlezone problems

I resurrected an upright Battlezone with a replacement AR2 board, however
the video on the 19v2000 monitor 'jumps' or 'jitters' randomly on the
horizontal axis during gameplay. The vertical axis is stable, and the game
is quite playable - it is just rather distracting.

In addition, the screen is shifted slightly too far to the left, I can't
quite center the screen while it is in test mode. Would this be a sign of a
bad pot on the PCB?

I installed a zanen get-well kit last night, I ordered it expecting that it
would contain replacement transistors as well as capacitors, but this
particular kit was capacitors only. Could this problem be a transistor
going bad?
