Re: need xy monitors

The SW probably originally shipped with an Amplifone, but many died
and were replaced with WG 610x. The Space Duel had a WG100 as original
equipment as did all Black Widows and most Gravitars. (a few Gravitars
shipped with amplifones, but I don't know how many.) I believe that the
Space Duel boardset can just be plgged into a Black Widow cab, but of
course the controls won't work.

You won't find easy replacement monitors, but they turn up occasionally.
Expect to pay between $200-$400 for a complete working WG610x. I don't
know what a working Amplifone would bring, but I expect more. You might
just be able to replace the tube in the Space Duel, but you'e have to
ask somebody with more experience. You'd have to get a yoke designed
for the tube, and X/Y yokes aren't the same as raster yokes.

Best of luck,
