Uh...no...industry standard is 300DPI with a 133 line
screen...and that's for continuous tone work, like
photographs...for line art, which is what these side
art pieces really are, we output at 2540 DPI..from
those films, silk screens would be made to apply the
color in actual production situations...and using a
silk screen process eliminates most of the dot
pattern, giving the solid blocks of color that we're
used to seeing on the side of the machines..
