Do you have a third prong on your plug in? If not, add that first.

There are grounding straps running throughout the power/game board area.
Make sure everything is grounded in there. I've often seen a grounding wire
soldered to the 12pin of the connector to the CPU board (which incidentally
is the gnd for coin, service, and reset). I don't remember if there is a
grounding strap going to the latches which hold down the CP.
