Apple IIgs?

I see that the Apple IIgs has a 65802 CPU in it. Is it a 40 pin
DIP? Weren't they all back then?

I can pick these puppies up really cheap and just desolder the chip and
use 'em. Before I bother, Would this be worth my time?
