The IIgs has a 64816 (the big brother of the 65802) which gives it a 24 bit
address bus so you address more than 64k of memory without having to bank
switch (those were the days).

Subject: VECTOR: Apple IIgs?
I see that the Apple IIgs has a 65802 CPU in it. Is it a 40 pin
DIP? Weren't they all back then?
I can pick these puppies up really cheap and just desolder the chip and
use 'em. Before I bother, Would this be worth my time?
