AR 2 bench testing

What's a good sized load to use when testing these? I have been using a 22ohm 5W from +5 to Gnd. +Sense tied to +5 -Sense tied to Gnd.

Reasonable?

Also what do you think of the idea of tying the sense's to there respective values at the AR2. Keep them from burning up the sense resistors quite so easily, though I realize it will pretty much disable the wire harness loss sensing.

Open to tomato's.
