Not to stray too far off topic, but for anyone checking out the above
web page and viewing the entry:
"X-rays from TV set (1 inch) 0.500 mR/hr"
Remember that radiation exposure follows the inverse-square law (1/d
squared) - doubling your distance reduces the exposure not by 1/2, but
1/4 So......
1"(from the tv) = .5 mR/hr
with that.,
2" = 0.125mR/hr
4" = 0.031mR/hr
.
20"= .00125 mR/hr
Just to ease the fears of any couch potatoes out there (or avid video
