Amplifone tube replacement

I have an Amplifone tube & yoke which came out of a Quantum I'm trying to
restore. The tube itself is burnt out (meter reads open on the heater
pins). It is an RCA 19VLTP22.

I also have a replacement RCA 19VLTP22 with what looks like a standard
Wells Gardner 4600 yoke on it.

Should I swap the yokes, or just redo the connectors on the WG and use that
with my Amplifone HV boards?

I must admit that I'm rather nervous about yanking off the yokes. How
removal is done is not all that apparent to me. Do I just loosen all the
ring brackets and pull?
