Again, TIFF is *MANY* file formats within a single "format". Not all TIFFs
are created equally.

So Quicktime, which is a known piece of crap on Windows boxen, allocating
tons of memory and bringing your machine to a complete halt is the fault
of Windows (you didn't say which one but I'm assuming 98/ME since that
*IS* a garbage heap OS). Interesting logic. ;-) I'm all up for a Microsoft
bash, but no OS will overcome a poorly designed program. 2K/XP/NT Are the
only worthwhile OSes MS has ever made.
I'm running 2K here, and they're all viewable by default in the OS (no IE
needed!).
