 That explains that, and yes, while I am already,
aware of the fact thet the STAR TREK (UNIVERSAL) and
ELIMINATOR(MEATBALL) Sound Cards are indeed entirely
different, by design, etc.., I guess I was looking for
or hoping that perhaps there was a common part (Chip)
which might Fail on Either of these Sound Cards and
which might then cause the Symptoms where there is that
constant White Noise, Static, oh heck you know what I mean.
And which I myself and from what I have read, others
have also experienced ???

 I know wishful thinking, but then again.....

Yes...you must hook up both the NC and NO connections in order for the game
to credit. NO and GND alone will not work.

BTW, the Eliminator Sound card is entirely different than the Star Trek
sounds cards (Univeral sound boards).
