I'm trying to identify a G-80 (I assume it is G-80 as it is Sega/Gremlin
and has the same form factor and connector as other G-80 boards) board.
I believe it to be a sound board. The only numbers are 834-0041 and on
the back PCB 171-0003. It is loaded with LM324N chips and has two 4
pin header connectors.
The board has several areas where chips could be added for what purpose
I don't know... each area looks like:
oooooooo
oooooooo
oooooooo
oooooooo
oooooooo
oooooooo
These empty locations are labelled IC6, IC20, IC22, IC28, IC36, IC40, and IC41
No amount of net searching I have done has turned up anything usefull.
It appears all the vector games have board part numbers 800-XXXX ??? If this
is so, I'd guess this might be a G-80 raster sound board (although net
searches there don't seem to turn up any matching part numbers either).
Hoping someone out there has a clue what this is.
