Don't know about flame, but you need something that can handle ripple
current. So DON'T just stick a ceramic disc in there.
This is interesting, DigiKey has these, but when you look at the spec.
sheet it tells you to use 1600 Volt for flyback application. The 1600
volt part is

So how did I know the capacitor was bad? Uh, I didn't, but it was only
a matter of time until it happened.
