I'd venture to say it's more on the 'less' side of looking like anything Atari.

Those DAC80s would be the DACs used in the Cinematronics to Hantarex (standard
X/Y monitor) conversion process. Which would be, more or less, the same circuit
as used on a standard Cinematronics monitor.
