There are some trace mods too... yeah, Im guessing this layout was a
first guess of the hardware designer and since code was never written,
he learned his mistakes on RotJ.
1. 11N, cut the trace coming off pin 10 and heading to the edge of the
board.
2. 11N, connect pin 8 to the trace you just cut, there is a convienient
pass-thru about 2 inches towards the edge of the board that you can
jumper on the bottom of the board easily.
3. 11N, Cut the trace connecting to pin 5 on the bottom side of the PCB.
4. 11N, jumper pins 4 and 5 together on the bottom of the PCB.
5. 11N, since you were smart and put a socket in this location, pull pin
4 out of the socket and hook it up to -5V (suggested location is emitter
of Q20.
After this tedious task, you should be able to hear a crappy version of
my voice if you run the Return to Vaxx ROMset. Lucky you!!! :-)
