You can go either way, (AMP or 6100 parts) but be prepared to
desolder/swap out the neck connector if using 6100 def board/HV cage.
Amplifone is preferred as it does a better job keeping up with SW.

I ended up using a tube from a WG U2000/5000 convergence was tough,
but when looking at pics of an original 25" in a SW CP, it seems that
even original 25" Amp tubes have about 50 magnetic shunts ;-)

Scott Evans sent me an original 25" Amp yoke a while back- the part
number on the yoke is not the same, but in terms of shape, windings,
it's identical to a 6100 yoke... and was no easier to converge than
having already tried a standard 6100 yoke....
