How about Asteroids... are you getting the extra Z brightness on the
ship and the bullets with a ZVG on a G05? I am not, all vectors have
the same amount of brightness. I am, however, seeing proper Z scaling
on other B&W games such as Star Castle... Could be a MAME thing?
Using amplifones- I've tried several different tubes, one being NOS
along with different HV and def PCBs. In every case I needed to
needed to narrow the Z range via ZVG tweak as the default seemed to go
too high.
