This seems a bit hard to believe as the major tube manufacturers stopped making 19" tubes earlier this year. Today I found out
25" (24.8") tubes are now out of production...

I had a response from Dave @ RAM Controls to the post below. I'm sure he won't mind me sharing this information but the tubes are reproduction as expected; finding a NOS lot in a warehouse would be nice but very annoying for the people who missed out on the few found. The production run has been signed off based on the samples and I understand full production is either under way or imminent.

I think I'm going to take the leap and buy one with yoke assuming shipping to the UK can be arranged. As for the XY yoke questions Col, I'd suggest using the contact address on the RAM website or hoping that Dave responds to your post on-list.

ps A point I missed in my earlier response. Whilst it did take a long time for the (premium) flight yoke rebuild kit to turn up, it's awesome quality - the site says that the parts are fabbed above Atari spec, and having looked at the two side by side I'd have to agree. I'm shortly going to be installing it and will be providing pictures and a commentary. The SWC T-molding was also of comparable quality. If the shipping issues can be fixed leading to a restoration in confidence, there is a whole new lease of life on offer to some amazing games :)

    Without wanting to disparage David and his business, I can only confirm that people have had delivery of T-molding (for Star Wars cockpit) as well as a yoke rebuild kit (circa 8 month delay on that though). I've not heard of anybody with a full repro yoke, nor any of the other parts that are advertised. It seems that he has the best of intentions and just needs a good business manager to handle the boring side whilst he's out and about doing QA, negotiating production runs and generally getting his hands dirty. He's got a killer portfolio and if he can deliver it I'm sure he's going to be very successful.

      He does have some good parts, and has supplied stuff to various guys om the scene.... and I'm hoping he has got his customer service issues sorted now ? (which was the main issue with dealing with the guy)
