Chris,
I have a game (Black Tiger) with a G07 that was doing the same thing when I
got it. I could *almost* get the horizontal to sync up; it would slowly get
better when I adjusted the Horizontal pot, but then it would start moving
the other direction. Looked for all the world like an "analog" type
failure. The adjustment was also very touchy, I could just lightly tap the
pot and it would alter the H Hold. I fiddled with the monitor for weeks,
replaced every cap but the big 900, replaced the HOT, pulled and tested
every resistor and diode, checked the horizontal pot, ... you get the idea.
It turned out it was the game board. Just a cautionary tale so you don't
waste a lot of time like I did if in fact it isn't the monitor.

Subject: RASTER: WG K4600 monitor problem
The WG K4600 in my wife's Centipede is on the fritz. The screen is rolling
in a way that doesn't, to me, look like just a sync problem, but since I
haven't had an arcade monitor go out like this, I'm relying on my memory of
adjusting the verticle hold when our TV actually had one.

Does this look like just a vert or horiz sync problem ?
Bizzare thing is I just put a Bob Roberts cap kit in it a few months ago.
