Ok, it is not the speaker... I have tested it using my Star Wars Audio/Reg
II board and it sounds great. I have three Audio/Reg I boards (A034485) and
all three are burnt in one particular place. They also have three different
pieces (or lack thereof) there. One, from and Asteroids cocktail, has a
burnt diode (judging by the shape and the board markings designating as a
diode) in between J6 and J7 (closer to J6 and directly parallel to the 1 4
of J6.) The second (from an upright AD) has a resistor in this spot (with
lots of burned area underneath.) The third is not burnt at all but has
nothing in that position. So, I guess my question is, what is supposed to
go there? The Asteroids manual shows a diode (1N4001.) The AD manual shows
a 10 ohm/ 1/4 watt resistor. Any clues?
Thanks again,
Josh
