I have serviced a grand total :) of threeo Tempests in my life, and the both
made a little static noise from the HV cage. But that was just a little 'click',
very faint, about once or twice a second.
Both HV cages were completely rebuilt and both had a very stable picture.
I suspect this noises to come from the focus/G2 pots, but I am not sure for it
was to weak to really determine. I think it's probably normal for the type of
'flyback' or pot assy.
