Get a can of freeze spray. I think Radio Shack still carries it. It
may be called "Component Cooler" or some such. It chills down
electronic components, one at a time, and lets you track down
intermittent parts.
A capacitor may be the culprit in the D/A section, too.
I'd start chilling down the digital-to-analog converters, then the
op-amps. You may need another pair of eyes you help you in this,
because your arms probably aren't long enough to look at the screen and
cool the parts at the same time.
A precise heat source, such as a heat gun or a hair dryer, can help in
this, too.
