<snicker> I have to confess that I got a laugh out of the $6.66 bids.
My opinion about Derek vs. Adam/Jan was gained from the
newsgroup. Apparently Derek and Adam were more-or-less partners, in other
words both Derek and Adam have a ton of parts, but Adam would use Derek as
a source. The big debate about who "Arcadegamesupply" was stems from an
interesting chain of events: (this is my version of history, your results
may vary.)
1. Krazykatt1, a.k.a. Jan Judd, assisted by Adam Judd, ships a ton of parts
sold on eBay. Also fails to ship a ton of parts sold on eBay. Ships
things also not as described, often not working when advertised as tested
and working. Often failed to respond to any e-mails. Any negative
feedback left would often earn retaliatory negative feedback. Krazykatt1
eBay account suspended several times, apparently now suspended permanently,
coincidentally the same time that Jan has succumbed to "internet phobia."
2. Componentsales, suspected of being Jan Judd or Adam Judd (don't know for
sure on this one) pops up almost immediately afterwards. Almost identical
merchandise, more reasonable reserve prices (or no reserve) and more
reasonable shipping quotes. They seemed to have faded away pretty
quickly. Maybe this is when Jan learned to hate computers.
3. Arcadegamesupply, initially suspected of being Jan Judd even still,
comes onto the scene. Selling once again almost identical merchandise,
down to even some of the same pictures used in previous Krazykatt1
auctions! A bunch of investigation on the part of many members of
r.g.v.a.c. turned up what is the currently accepted idea that this is just
a guy with the unfortunate bad luck of having been associated with Jan/Adam
in the past.
Whew. Was that long-winded enough? Sorry. Still, I have no idea if the
guy is square or not.
