Hi All,
Here's a trivial little question about cabinets.
I picked up the Tempest cabinet that John Mehrtens
posted on this list last week. The side pieces are
wider than the T-moulding. I thought that since it
was out in the weather that the particle board had
just expanded.
However, it is still uniform thickness. I didn't
measure it but I'd say 1". My Irish made Tempest
has a the same wall thickness as the particle board.
I belive 3/4".
After looking over the cabinet, I'm wondering if
this Tempest used 1" particle board instead of 3/4"
because it doesn't look all that water damaged except
for on the bottom left side for an 1 inch or to.
The damage really looks like they used 1" particle board
with 3/4" T-moulding and the damage came from not
having the T-moulding completely cover the edge.
Does anybody else have or seen a Tempest with 1" particle
board?
Is T-moulding available in the 1" thickness?
Thanks for reading.
-Chris Moore
P.S. After reading about the Bradley Trainer for years
It's really cool to see one finally surface. It's kind
of like finding the loch ness monster. :-)
I hope Jess Askey posts a write up on it in his gamearchive site.
