IF you have a crimp-on edge connector on each pcb then change it NOW!
GOOD edge connectors have split-contacts so there are 2 copper fingers pressing against the pcb instead of the usual single contact.
If you unplug the edge-connector and look at the power-tracks at the edge of the pcb you can usualy see heat damage,
if it gets too bad it will burn-off the copper-pad!!!!!!
(jump wire time :-( )
THERE IS NOTHING TO CHECK OR INSPECT, JUST CHANGE THEM BEFORE IT'S TOO LATE.
