I've had this happen on my AD before, pretty much the same components you
mention burned.

The problems with my board occurred in several steps:

 - I started experiencing vector drawing problems, occasional blank, 1/2,
1/4 screen, etc.

 - Did a cap kit /w chassis transistors, forgot to check cold solder joints
(the first game I ever worked on).

 - Fired it up and it fired up. Visibly smoked several resistors, other
components bad as well such as diodes and transistors, including Q706 and
Q707. Also fried one or more new chassis transistors as well.

I ended up replacing most of the 700 circuit components (at all the
components I could readily find). I got the parts from Bob Roberts and had
some final assistance from Alex Yeckly. We were able to get the board
running again.

Lessons learned:

 - Resolder pin header joints.

 - Check/replace chassis and deflection transistors as a matter of
maintenance.

Good luck
