The power tested correctly so I went down to the local parts shop and found
a bin of the TDA2002 ICs in the bargain section, so I snagged a handful.
Atari vectors are my favorite, so why not stock up?. Once I returned home I
replaced the 2 on the AR board and ta-da, full sound.
Thanks for the help Jon, it pointed me to the exact problem!
So - the shop that I went to had about 100 more of the TDA2002 ICs
available, what is a reasonable price for them? If they are a good enough
deal I'll go snag the rest of them and make them available to the list
members.
Gotta go play Battlezone,
-Dan
