Heres the pinout:
1. ground
2. X B/W +-10V
3. Y B/W +-7.5V
4. Red Drive
5. Blue Drive
6. Green Drive
7. N/C
8. X color control
9. Y color control
10. N/C
11. X color output (see note)
12. Y color output (see note)
NOTE: X color output swing is +-8v when pins 2 & 8 are shorted, othyerwise
+-4v
NOTE: Y color output swing is +-6V when pins 3 & 9 are shorted, otherwise
+-3v
..so without the pins shorted the output is for Sega XY, otherwise Its for
B/W & 6100 monitors.
The Cinematronics hack is pretty simple.. Its just a B/W cine
transformer, which has +-30V which will work fine with G05 & 6100
monitors (but not the g05-102(?) used in LL). An Atari transformer would
of course work just as well, but the cine one is much smaller. I keep a
transformer out of a Sega vector handy for benching the G08's, but it
doesn't get much use since G08's never seem to break :)
I'm going to "edit" the way its currently hooked up though.. The
transformer is tapped right off the line cord, so its getting power
whenever the thing is plugged in.. having to unplug it every time
gets annoying..
