Uh uh, and how long ago was that? Maybe you're just getting slower. ;^)

Seriously, can you get a copy of the ROMs. Other than a prototype rom set where
the morse code was altered, I haven't heard of a different speed.

Of course it could be that the known ROMs are all the faster ones. Ideally a
copy of your previous machine's ROMs would be the ones to compare with.
