Yes. Evern notice how a color Atari vector game still has a Z test point ?
That is because there is only 1 Z driver for intensity. That signal can be
latched to Red, Green, Blue, or any combination there of.
In other words, all the colors that are lit up are the same intensity
because they are controlled by the same signal.
If your scope has a Z input, you can connect that to the Z test point and
you won't see retrace lines. Many do. Mine does.
