I do have a scope, but I've never used it. (It's an old Heath/Schlumberger
my dad got years ago, and it's never been out of the box. No docs or
instructions....)

I'm thinking that somewhere in the Y circuit I'm losing voltages to an IC or
ICs. I thought it would be one of the ICs, and I could solve it by shotgun
replacement. Maybe it's a cap or resistor shorted to ground. I guess I'll
make sure that each of these ICs is getting +/- 15 and +/- 5 where it
should. Maybe I'll go ahead and replace the DAC08 and the LS273 while I'm at
it.
