Well John, you hit the nail on the head. I did discharge the hi voltage twice
with a screwdriver and wire when I was swapping the hi voltage unit between
monitors. It did not matter that it was a new rectifier it got zapped :-(
From now on I will listen and use the 1meg resistor in line to avoid this
from happening again. Glad I ordered a couple spairs. I put another new
SK7330 in and so far it has been on for over 8 hours and it's working like
new :-) Thanks to everyone who read my post and to all who sent me emails
with your advice. The Vector list people are the best. Now for some help on
my Star Wars but I'll make that another post.
