Before the LV2000 I had a LV re-design of my own. I wire wrapped each one as I
needed them. The LV2000 is nicer, and I've replaced my wire wraps with it.

I also had a Tempest monitor that was reliable. I notice one day that while the
monitor was working fine, one of the zener diodes was crack in two. So how it
was working is anybodies guess. I figured it wasn't worth investigating, and
even though it had a nice screen and was fully functional, I replaced the LV
section. I didn't want to worry about it.
