If you can't find anyone to take it, suggest that they give it to the local
thrift store. Perhaps that would be as good of a write-off and you can go
down and get it from there... and then everyone is happy.
The reason I said that was that I had a bowling alley that had about 40+
games that I could raid... and after there was initial interest for the buy
(and I even showed up with a good bit of cash) I found that they had given
them away to the thrift store and didn't even let me know. The guy there
said that his accountant said it would be better than selling them. I was
really pissed that day... easy come, easy go.
