        I have, and they work (and fit) great. Actually, I always
wondered why everyone was talking about using RTV, etc, because with the
527A, at least, it fits into the original holder just fine (it is a little
bigger than the original diode, but it still fits.)

        Unfortunately for y'all, my source for these parts was my local
NTE distributor, and even he was sporadic. I'd just ask if he had
any every time I went in there, and every so often he would.
