Sounds like you have a deflection board from a WG 19V2000 bw vector monitor, not a G05. Awhile ago, I too was trying the swap you are attempting, not knowing one was a G05 and the other was a 19v2000. I found the pin 4 and pin 5 problem you're talking about, so I quit trying. Later found out I had the two different types of boards. Someone with more electronics experience might be able to tell you how to make one work in the other. I've often wondered about those who say that they are interchangable....?
